Motivation Tip #5
Hello everyone! Is it really JUNE already? This year has absolutely flown by so far and I really can’t believe we’re already half way through!
Anyhoo, it is time for Motivation Tip #5 to help you get ready for the week ahead!
Now, I know it isn’t always as simple as that before people start saying you can’t choose happiness. I know that, believe me. But sometimes, just sometimes, you can get so bogged down with the negative, you forget to look for the positives in life, and by looking for the positives, you are choosing to be happy.
For example, last week I have had a few struggles, which I won’t bore you with now (I’m saving that for another day!) but I was getting so weighed down with the negatives, and I was miserable. I was crying, I was down, I was unhappy. But then I realised that there was no way I could carry on living life like that.
I’m naturally quite an optimistic person, and before my illness came, I could always see the positives in things. Now, it is a bit harder, and I do have to remind myself to look for the positives, but when I do, I feel so much happier and I feel like a huge weight has been lifted.
And that is exactly what I did last week.
I found the positives in my crappy situation, and now, I am back to my happy, motivated and optimistic self!
So today’s motivation tip is simple; ALWAYS try to find the positives in life, and you will naturally begin to choose happiness and will therefore feel more motivated!
